In-House Counsel – Broad Emerging Markets Financing

Our client is a boutique financial services organization who specialize in a variety of financing matters in the emerging markets space.

The legal team is looking to onboard a lawyer from a broad financing background to join it’s tight knit team to cover exciting work spanning across a variety of different jurisdictions.

The ideal lawyer for this position will have at least 2+ years of PQE at a leading law firm or in-house team and will be looking to take on a broad and fast paced role.

Depending on the seniority of the candidate this position can be filled at either the Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel level.

The candidate backgrounds that will be considered for this position are: Trade Finance, Commodities Finance, Project Finance, Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, and generally any type of Emerging Markets work.

Given the strong focus on EM work in this role, additional language skills (mainly French, Dutch, Portuguese and/or Italian) would be highly desirable. That being said this is a role for an English speaker and the drafting will only be done in English.
