Our client, a fintech brokerage, seeks an experienced individual for an advisory role focused on regulatory strategy and reporting. Join a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you can contribute to the development and optimisation of liquidity regulatory reporting. As the successful candidate:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of liquidity regulatory reporting, reducing reliance on spreadsheets and enabling automated production.
  • Implement daily liquidity stress testing and develop Treasury MI reporting for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on optimal group structure and entity-level governance to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Implement process changes in response to regulatory frameworks (IFPR, IFR/IFD).
  • Oversee balance sheet FX exposures, large exposures, and intercompany lending, taking remedial action as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory liquidity and capital reporting in FCA Reg Data.
  • Incorporate regulatory capital calculations into forward-looking financial plans.
  • Finalise important documents like ICARA, Pillar III disclosures, CFP, and Liquidity risk policy.
  • Optimise cash and collateral holdings to reduce market and credit risk and minimize impact on the balance sheet.
  • Control client credit lines and escalate relevant matters to stakeholders.
  • Produce financial information for boards and committees, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Establish a new daily intraday liquidity assessment to enhance risk management and liquidity efficiency.
  • Optimise liquidity resources and mentor junior team members.

Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrable and significant experience in Risk and Treasury, specialising in liquidity, funding, and capital management.
  • Familiarity with FCA Supervisory Review Process (SREP) and comprehensive understanding of FCA Capital and Liquidity standards.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of capital and liquidity regulatory environment for investment firms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
