Financial Crime Officer

My client is a very well regarded European banking group looking for someone to join their 2nd line financial crime advisory team. They are a fantastic team that we know exceptionally well having placed the MLRO and another very senior team member.

This team is responsible for providing advice to the business and ensuring escalated cases are dealt with efficiently and commercially. They need someone who understands the wider market and can provide strong challenge to the business where needed. The role holder will be required utilise their industry and financial crime knowledge to make judgements on a regular basis while having plenty of support from more senior team members.

They are looking for someone from a 2nd line financial crime advisory team. The skills needed will be very difficult if candidate shave only come from 1st line. To understand the clients and decisions that need to be made applicants will ideally come from a similar corporate/investment banking background.
