Employment Lawyer

My client is a large and well known asset manager and they are looking for a Legal Counsel to join them to provide advice on all areas of employment. They are targeting a UK qualified Lawyer with c.2 to 4 years PQE from a well respected law firm. The client is happy to consider people who are either currently in private practice or  working in an in house team.

The workload should be varied and interesting and will encompass all areas of employment advice. The client is very well regarded and known to be an excellent employer. This reputation is well deserved as they are not only an excellent place to work in terms of culture and quality of people but they offer excellent progression opportunities and sensible work life balance.

The role will be part of a small team that provides advice across the business and will enable you to take ownership of a number of projects and make a tangible difference to the wider business.

Sponsorship will not be possible so any applicant will need to be eligible to work in the UK and the strong preference is for a a lawyer who is qualified in England and Wales but common law countries will be considered as well.

The role is London based and offers good flexibility but will require you to be in the office a few times a week. their offices are City based and easy to get to.
