Digital Transformation Lead

My client is the largest defence contractor in Europe and provides some of the worlds most advanced technology solutions across defence, aerospace and central government.

They are now looking for a Digital transformation Lead to help them on engagements with customer and industry SMEs to understand and capture requirements around the digital capabilities for the Through-Life Support solutions, including producing and maintaining a digital strategy and taking the lead on multiple programmes of activity to ensure objectives and strategies are met in the design and development of all solutions. Skills, experience, and competencies required.

• Experience leading digital transformation or working at a strategic level to set vision and objectives around digital enablement and data exploitation is essential
• Ability to translate customer requirements and technological developments into strategies and implementation plans is essential
• Developing concepts and philosophies for digital technologies and data exploitation capabilities
• Experience of integrating digital strategies with other products and service development areas
• Planning and co-ordinating for a small team, leading the inputs to planning sessions and reviews, and contributing to schedules of work and deliverables
• HND Level 5, Degree in relevant STEM subject or equivalent professional experience is required
• Experience in a service delivery environment, preferably aerospace or defence industry, or a complex product support domain is desirable
• Experience with UK MOD with knowledge in Defence (KiD), Support Solution Envelope 21 (SSE21), Integrated Logistics Support (Def-Stan 00-600), ASD/AIA S-Series Integrated Product Support Specifications is highly advantageous
