Data Analytics Manager – Berlin, Essen, Hamburg or Munich, Germany

We are looking for Senior Data Analytics Managers to strengthen our clients team who are based in in either Berlin, Essen, Hamburg or Munich to work on multiple European-wide consulting programmes of work in the areas of data analysis and data science.

You will lead projects in the area of data analysis, focusing on data, technologies and strategy as well as the development and further development of sub-service line data analytics.
You will be responsible for planning the scope, schedule, budget and communication with stakeholders, helping them define data, and understand what insights they need, and then visualise this, to then help them form effective investment or business driven plans or decisions.

This role will require you to lead teams in national and international big data projects where you will evaluate various methods and tools for data analytics as well as data mining and support the end clients in the conception and development of BI and big data platforms and the selection of storage technologies. Exceptionally strong stakeholder management and problem solving skills will be required.

Skills & Experience required

  • Consultancy experience working with clients on large complex enterprise data programmes
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the areas of data analytics, machine learning and big data technologies
  • Advanced data analytics skills (data mining, predictive analytics, computational
    Statistics)
  • Expertise in processing and analysing large amounts of data (statistical analysis and data mining)
  • Strong competency with tools for big data analysis and big data visualization (PowerBi, Alteryx, Celonis, Hadoop and Excel)
  • You are fluent in German and English; additional foreign language skills and willingness to travel internationally are an advantage
  • Must be eligible to live and work in Germany with no restrictions
