I am pleased to bring to market a brand new mandate from one of my best banking clients. They are a very well known universal bank and are looking at bringing in someone to support their corporate advisory team. Although this may have the opportunity to occasionally support their M&A transactional team that won’t be the main focus of this role. This team supports on all areas of corporate advisory from annual reporting disclosures to investor relations.

They are looking at someone at VP level to replace someone who has just moved internally.

This team is the first point of contact for the business on all queries and works with a variety of internal stakeholders. The work is really varied and interesting and the complexity of the entity ensures anyone on the team will continue to learn and develop their skillset.

They are seeking someone who has a very strong grounding in all areas of corporate advisory work and specifically has supported clients around areas like UK listing rules etc. They are an exceptionally good team who offer really good support an the head of department is brilliant.

The type of person who will likely be successful in securing an offer will be private practice trained form a top tier law firm who really enjoys the corporate advisory side of the role. You will need to be comfortable taking ownership of projects and managing multiple stakeholders at once.

As the role is predominantly non-transactional in nature the work life balance should be particularly good. They offer a very flexible approach to working with 2 anchor days in the office being the norm.
