Data Protection Specialist

Large management consultancy firm seeks a part-time Data Privacy Specialist to join their team.

The role is available 2-3 days per week. The full time salary is just over £80,000 which will be pro-rata’d according to the number of days worked.

You will act as the internal expert on data protection matters, ensuring risks are managed and compliance requirements are met. Data Protection was previously managed by an external 3rd party, so this is a new hire to replace that service. The role will require setting up policies and procedures for the firm, as well as establishing systems and processes relating to client data. In addition, you will support clients with DPIAs for projects.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced data protection professional who is interested in part-time hours (2 days or 3 days, your choice). The role can be worked mainly from home with occasional trips to the central London office to get to know the team. The role is offered as an initial 3-6 month contract.
