Our client, a UK insurance and asset management company, is currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Risk Manager to join their Prudential Risk team. This vital role represents a significant juncture in the evolution of their Risk function, providing an opportunity to assist the Head of Prudential Risk within a compact yet busy team, an integral part of a larger Affluent Risk group.

Key Responsibilities:

Own Risk & Solvency Assessment (ORSA): Assisting in the oversight of the ORSA framework, advising on its development and implementation, and coordinating risk quantification, scenario, and stress testing activities.

Internal Capital Adequacy & Risk Assessment (ICARA): Contributing to the oversight of the ICARA framework, supporting its development and maintenance, and assisting in the execution of risk quantification and stress testing.

Financial & Regulatory Reporting: Playing a crucial role in drafting ICARA and ORSA reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in regulatory reporting, and developing risk content for various disclosures.

Financial Risk Oversight: Maintaining oversight of regulatory capital, liquidity, and financial risk appetite, including market, credit, and liquidity risks.

Regulatory Engagement: Facilitating and managing engagement with FCA/PRA on prudential matters, effectively addressing feedback.

About the Ideal Candidate:
