Operational Risk Analyst

Job Summary: As an Operational Risk Analyst, you will play a supporting role in the ongoing development and execution of Quilter’s operational risk management framework.

Responsibilities:

1. Risk & Control Assessments:
   • Conduct comprehensive risk and control assessments across various business units.
   • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, ensuring alignment with the organization’s risk appetite.
2. Policy Management:
   • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of operational risk policies and procedures.
   • Support in ensuring policies are in compliance with industry regulations and provide guidance to business units on adherence.
3. Business Support:
   • Work closely with business units to provide expert support in identifying and managing operational risks.
   • Assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
4. Reporting and Analysis:
   • Prepare regular reports on operational risk metrics and key performance indicators.
   • Analyze trends and provide insights to enhance risk awareness and decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; certification in risk management is a plus.
• Proven experience in operational risk management, with a focus on risk and control assessments.
• Strong understanding of policy management and regulatory requirements within the financial services industry.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
