Internal Controls Manager

Barclay Simpson have been engaged by an established business who are considered to be a ‘Public Interest Entity’ and therefore are implementing an Internal Controls Framework in readiness for UK SOx. This newly created Internal Controls Manager role will be based in Milton Keynes 1-2 days/week.

Reporting into the newly appointed Head of Global Financial Controls, you will play a critical role in the building of the Internal Controls Framework. You will map and document business processes, establish RACMs with a particular focus on R2R, P2P & O2C, conduct workshops with key control owners to promote a strong risk and controls culture, and establish then implement a Controls Self Assessment programme.

You will be an experienced Internal Controls professional with a relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIA). You will have end-to-end exposure to UK SOx/US SOx/COSO, preferably in an implementation capacity. You will have a strong ability to identify risks & control gaps, have excellent communication skills and be confident working autonomously. Full eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship is essential.

The salary package on offer is £65,000-£75,000 + car allowance + bonus + benefits.
