Finance Contractor (Treasury) – 9months £500 p.d

Our client, a well-known Investment Bank are urgently looking for a Finance Contractor to help build the day-to-day management of the treasury & liquidity function in their Leeds office.

This is a 9 month project with a day rate of £500 (umbrella/PAYE) – this is the max rate for the role. They need a contractor to start ASAP (1 month notice period will be considered for the right candidate)

The ideal candidate will be based in Leeds or be able to commute to the Leeds office twice a week. Edinburgh, Halifax and Bristol may also be options with two days in the office and 3 working from home. London is not an option for this role.

Requirements:-

• They are looking for a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who is change ready and who has the ability to stand up things at a relative pace.
• A self-motivated / self-starter with strong excel and process improvement / documentation experience.
• Experience in macros (able to read and write macros in VBA) with advanced Excel skills (ideally treasury).
• The VBA knowledge is definitely something needed – it doesn’t need to be super advanced but definitely a step above vlookup / sumif.
• Treasury is ideal but can be foregone if the candidate has strong process building/design/mapping experience in complex organisations.
