Director – Rates Quantitative Analytics

Our client is a market leading Fintech firm providing live pricing information to financial markets.

Continued growth  has led the need for an experienced rates quant to join the global analytics group to lead a team of quants, devs and engineers who are responsible for delivering the pricing and analytics capabilities for the firms SaaS rates product.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Maintaining a high standard of delivery across the team, in accordance with team standards, best practices and approach.
  • Responsible for managing the workflow of the team, including: – prioritisation of work items; delivery estimates; testing strategy; release procedure.
  • Preparing and presenting materials to communicate the status of planned development.
  • Providing regular progress updates to stakeholders from technology and the various businesses supported.
  • Shared responsibility for minimizing downtime of solutions delivered by the analytics team.
  • Mentoring and training junior members of the team.

 

The successful candidate should be operating at a VP/Director (or equivalent) level currently, with some prior supervisory or leadership experience (not necessarily line management experience).  Significant experience as a rates quant in a bank or similar fintech firm is essential.
