Internal Auditor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Internal Auditor to join an established Berkshire-based financial services business, working as part of a collaborative internal audit function with good exposure to senior management, on an interim basis for 12+ months.
You’ll take ownership of audits from planning and scoping through to fieldwork and reporting, assessing key risks and controls and identifying practical opportunities to strengthen the control environment. You’ll produce clear, concise reports and work closely with stakeholders to agree and monitor actions.
Alongside audit delivery, you’ll contribute to risk assessments and audit planning, support the preparation of committee papers and help ensure the function continues to meet relevant professional and regulatory standards.
We’re looking for someone with around 3–5 years’ audit experience, ideally gained within banking, consumer finance or the wider financial services sector. You’ll need strong analytical and communication skills, a questioning mindset and the confidence to constructively challenge stakeholders at all levels.
Hybrid working is on offer and the expectation is three days in the Berkshire office each week.
Applicants must already hold full UK working rights and have relevant UK-based experience. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
