Senior IT Audit Manager – Asset Management
A leading financial services organisation is looking to recruit a Senior IT Audit Manager into its Internal Audit function.
This is a highly visible leadership role within a well-established global audit team, offering responsibility for technology audit coverage across a broad range of areas including technology risk, cyber security, operational resilience and data protection. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping shape audit coverage, influencing stakeholders and supporting the ongoing development of the function.
Reporting into senior audit leadership, the role combines strategic responsibility with hands-on involvement in complex audit and advisory engagements. You will help develop the technology audit plan, provide insight on emerging risks, oversee the delivery of audit work and build strong relationships with stakeholders across both technology and business functions.
The position also offers people leadership responsibility, with oversight of a small team and the opportunity to contribute to the development of audit methodology, data analytics and the use of emerging technologies within the audit process.
The organisation is looking for an experienced technology auditor from a financial services environment. Candidates may come from industry or professional services, but should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of technology risks and controls within regulated financial services businesses. Those currently working in practice should have significant exposure to financial services clients and ideally be delivering technology internal audit or co-source engagements rather than purely external audit or IT controls testing assignments.
Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to think strategically about risk, challenge constructively and translate technical issues into meaningful business insights. Exposure to areas such as cyber security, cloud technology, operational resilience, data governance and emerging regulatory developments would be advantageous.
