Internal Audit Managers – Investments
I’ve been retained exclusively by a leading financial services organisation to recruit two Audit Managers into a growing Internal Audit team focused on investments and wealth management activities.
These are high-profile roles within a well-regarded function, offering exposure across a broad and evolving business. The successful individuals will lead risk-based audit assignments, build relationships with senior stakeholders and provide meaningful insight across a range of regulated investment and wealth management activities.
One of the key attractions of these positions is the opportunity to remain closely aligned to the investment environment, whilst also gaining exposure to selected areas of the wider banking business. The team provides assurance over areas such as investment governance, product oversight, portfolio management and broader front-to-back investment processes, making the roles particularly attractive to candidates who want to continue developing their understanding of investments and wealth management rather than move into a more generalist audit position.
The team is expanding and offers excellent visibility across the organisation. You will lead audits from planning through to reporting, assess key risks and controls, provide practical recommendations to the business and help develop more junior members of the team. The level of stakeholder interaction and responsibility is significant and, in many organisations, would be comparable to a Senior Manager role.
Candidates should have internal audit experience gained within asset management, wealth management or broader investment environments. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders are essential.
