An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned audit professional to lead the Internal Audit function across Continental Europe for a global financial markets and technology firm. This is a strategic leadership role based in Paris, responsible for overseeing and delivering a portfolio of high-quality audits across a range of business lines including fixed income, FX, commodities, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute audits across European operations, ensuring alignment with global standards.
  • Deliver clear, insightful audit reports that influence senior stakeholders and support sound risk management.
  • Build strong relationships with executive management, risk, compliance, and internal control teams.
  • Represent audit at board meetings and contribute to global audit planning and coordination.
  • Monitor resolution of audit findings and ensure timely closure of issues.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Significant internal audit experience, ideally including time with a Big-4 consultancy.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, application, and operational risk audits.
  • Proven ability to manage audit teams and influence senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks and risk management methodologies.
