An outstanding opportunity has opened up in the Principle Investment Division of one of the worlds premier financial institutions.

Principle Investments is an in-house private equity business, with approx £2bn invested across 300 portfolio companies.  As the business continues to grow, the firm have created a new position ass VP Valuations Manager based in the rapidly expanding Glasgow office.  The role will have management responsibility for 2 AVP’s, and will lead the valuation process for the whole portfolio.

This will include:

Ensuring the 1/4ly valuation process runs smoothly ensuring consistency across the portfolio and ensuring follow up actions are completed.

Conducting valuations of all portfolio companies, engaging with senior management and gathering data from the relevant platforms.

Ensuring compliance with model governance standards, ensuring models are redeveloped according to these requirements.

Take a key the selection and onboarding of a new valuations software platform.

Candidates should have strong previous experience of unlisted company valuations and be familiar with a range of valuation approaches and methodologies.  Prior experience managing at least 1 direct report is preferred (not essential).  Strong communication and relationship skills are also essential.
