Director – Technology Risk Supervision

I am working with a UAE based regulator who are looking to back fill this Director role withing their Innovation & Technology Supervision department. They are looking for an experienced Technology Risk specialist who will lead a team of 12 in the Supervision of FinTech’s and other regulated firms within their jurisdiction.

Aside from managing a team of 12 people performing Risk-based Supervision, you will also be required to support on the development of Policy.

• Operational Risk
• FinTech & RegTech Supervision
• People Management
• Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
• Documentation & Reporting
• Department Budgeting
• Data Protection and Management

Qualifications & Experience required:

• 12 years minimum experience in Risk or Compliance within a regulator or regulated environment
• At least 5 years in a managerial position
• Specific knowledge of the development in FinTech, RegTech, InsurTech, etc.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and people management skills
• Exceptional Communication and Presentation skills
