Overview:

My client is looking for a Software Developer to join their team who has proven experience designing technical solutions and providing development of those solutions. You will also be hands on with the full software development lifecycle (coding, design, unit testing) and have experience with C++ & Java desktop applications.

What you will be doing is:

• Designing technical solutions and providing software development of those solutions
• Testing involved in verifying the above, with supporting system test and integration activities
• Providing software development of those solutions
• Adherence to project processes and software development practices
• Generation and management of requirements and production of technical documentation
• Supporting System Test and Integration Activities

Essential skills:

• Software development lifecycle and processes (e.g. design, coding, unit testing), and tools (e.g. UML design tools, code IDEs)
• Experience with C++ and Java desktop-based applications
• Linux or Windows O/S experience
• Object-oriented design/development including UML, SysML or XML
