Senior Privacy SME

Leading international banking group seeks a privacy SME to join its DPO team of 8 people in London.

In this role, you will work with different businesses and countries to offer guidance on privacy matters.  You will also work with them to implement privacy and data localisation standards and policies.  The team sits in the compliance function and is the risk framework owner of the standards so you will lead risk assessments and look to mitigate risk through oversight and challenge of controls implementation.

You will support the Global DPO and UK DPO by day-to-day mentoring of the 8 person team (there is no direct line management responsibility however) and through implementation of the privacy strategy.

This role will suit someone with broad experience as a Privacy SME, advising on privacy compliance matters in a complex, regulated and international business. A good understanding of financial services would be beneficial.

This role will require you to work in the London (City) office one day per week.

Salary £100-110k base + good benefits package + bonus (£20k+)
