Senior Manager – SIEM
Join our second-line Information Security function as a Senior Manager for SIEM & Security Monitoring Oversight. This role focuses on governing the effectiveness of first-line detection capabilities, including SOC operations, log monitoring, and incident escalation pathways.
What You’ll Do:

Provide independent oversight of SIEM and monitoring operations, ensuring alignment with risk appetite

Review threat detection use cases, escalation processes, and SOC governance practices

Conduct gap analyses and effectiveness reviews of 1LoD monitoring tooling and procedures

Challenge detection capabilities and collaborate on remediation plans where necessary

Contribute to security metrics, board reporting, and regulatory responses (DORA, ISO 27001, etc.)
What You Bring:

6+ years in Cybersecurity, SOC leadership, or IT security governance

Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms, security monitoring best practices, and detection frameworks

Familiarity with second-line responsibilities, risk reporting, and regulatory expectations

Understanding of DORA, NIST CSF, and incident response frameworks
-
Fluent in German & English
