Senior Legal Counsel

My client is a FTSE 100 financial services firm . They have grown enormously in the last few years through acquisition and are looking for a senior lawyer to join them in their legal M&A team.

This team covers both a mix of large scale public M&A and private M&A and both backgrounds will be considered.

This is a busy team even in current market conditions and is probably one of the most exciting roles at this level in the UK FS market currently.

There is a lot of potential to grow in the role and the work will be of very high calibre.

The hiring manager is Magic Circle trained and came from a different FS background previously so is quite open minded about where people come from.

Candidates will need to be people who really enjoy the transactional deal side of the role and operate at a senior level with key stakeholders from across the business

You may come from private practice or another senior in house role.

There’s flexibility on PQE level but likely looking at 8+. If you can demonstrate the aptitude and soft skills they may consider less for exceptional candidates.
