Senior Model Development Analyst

Are you a highly skilled risk modelling professional with expertise in credit risk modelling (IRB/IFRS9), SAS and SQL,? If so, a fast-growing challenger bank has an exciting opportunity for you to join their team and contribute to their continued growth and success.  This bank are mid way through a project to secure an IRB waiver for their mortgage capital models and the successful candidate will play a key role in developing key models as part of the submission.

You will play a key role in the development and maintenance of credit risk models, using your strong technical skills and attention to detail to deliver high quality results. This includes using SAS and SQL to extract, analyse and manipulate data.  You will also develop and implementing IRB and IRS9 models used to assess risk and regulatory capital, and be responsible for maintaining and improving upon existing models such as scoring and stress models.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a highly motivated and proactive individual with excellent problem solving abilities. You should have a strong background in quantitative finance, statistics or a related field, and have experience using SAS and SQL. You should also have a solid understanding of credit risk modelling principles and best practices, and be able to apply these concepts in a practical setting.
