Risk, Compliance and Data Protection Officer

We are working with a Premier League Football club who are looking for a risk, Compliance and Data Protection Officer where you will have responsibility for the management of the Club’s risk and compliance obligations, ensuring all statutory requirements are being met. The majority (70%) of your responsibilities will be that of a DPO but someone with substantial Risk and Compliance experience will be valued greatly.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and mitigate risk.
  • Streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Track data and workflow.
  • Automate basic tasks.
  • Approve and activate new suppliers and new technology platforms.
  • Centralise the risk function and subsequent mitigation processes.

 

Required experience:

• Delivered sustainable compliance frameworks.
  • Managed a digital risk register end-to-end.
  • Worked autonomously in creating and executing strategies.
  • Managed GRC technology.
  • Monitored compliance with data protection and privacy legislation.
  • Advised and supported internal teams across to meet their obligations to protect personal
  data in line with legislation.
