Role Overview

The Risk Analyst will be responsible for embedding and operating first line risk and compliance processes across the UK business. This role is hands-on and varied, covering risk assessments, control testing, incident management, and support for regulatory and business change.

You will work directly with senior stakeholders across sales, strategy, client service, and change teams, helping the business meet its risk obligations and improve operational resilience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and improve first line risk and control processes, including risk assessments (RCSA), control testing, and risk incident management.
  • Support regulatory readiness and ensure alignment with the firm’s Risk Management Framework.
  • Monitor, track, and report on risk events, breaches, and mitigation plans.
  • Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Financial Crime teams on monitoring, reviews, and awareness.
  • Support client, regulatory, and audit requests, including due diligence and RFP responses.
  • Participate in regulatory change and business-led initiatives, advising on risk impact and required controls.
  • Maintain records, risk registers, and key metrics (KRIs) and escalate emerging risks as needed.
  • Help embed a risk-aware culture through training, coaching, and clear communication.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Experience in a risk or controls-focused role within a technology platrform provider.
  • Familiarity with RCSA processes and operational risk best practices.
  • Confident working with the business – (Sales, strategy, client service, and change teams)
  • Clear communicator—able to engage with stakeholders across different levels and teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative approach.
  • Good Excel and general IT skills; project experience a plus.
