Platform Security Engineer

This listed and high-growth consumer tech company seeks a Senior Platform Security Engineer to join its high performing security engineering team.

 

The role will see you working closely with the product and platform engineers to build security-by-design into the engineering designs and solutions.  You will embed best security practice, and implement tools to automate security processes. The company has a security champions programme which you will lead, embedding a security focused culture across the group. You will also work on the design and implementation of specialist security programs, for example a current program which focuses on vulnerability management.

 

The successful candidate will have a blend of software engineering and security engineering skills. Scripting skills are important (Java, Python, Shell or similar, as well as experience of security tooling and automation. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required.

Base salary £85-90k, plus market leading share package and bonus.
