Leading Asset Manager seeks junior investment risk analyst. The role will offer exposure to trading and the front office. Focused on Equities supporting the development of a more technical product knowledge and sophistication of risk techniques.

 

Successful candidates will join one of the larger and leading Investment Risk Teams in the UK. The team offers a great platform for learning and a flexible working environment.

 

The role offers daily variety of bespoke analysis and daily analytics. The candidate will have exposure to both senior management and the front office.

 

Requirements:

 

  • A degree in a Science, Mathematics or Engineering discipline
  • Demonstrable experience in BAU investment Risk activity such as: limit monitoring, internal and external risk reporting.
  • Excellent quantitative and programming skills with proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Advanced Excel User
  • Strong interest in investment management and risk analysis, with a good understanding of investment risk theory.
  • Solid analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex concepts effectively.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship. Candidates on a PSW, graduate visa or tier 2 are not eligible to apply.
