Internal IT Auditor – 12 Month Maternity Cover | £67,000 pro rata | Hybrid (London)

Location: London (Hybrid, typically 3 days in office)

We are supporting a well-respected financial services firm in the search for an Internal IT Auditor to cover a 12 month maternity leave. This role offers a fixed-term salary of up to £67,000 pro rata.

 

This is a hands-on internal audit role focused on the delivery of IT and technology audits across infrastructure, networks, applications, change management and access controls. While prior financial services experience is preferred, the client is open to strong audit professionals from other backgrounds who bring the right technical skills and interpersonal style.

 

You will need to work autonomously and demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The team operates in a collaborative, high-performing environment, and stakeholder engagement is seen as a key part of the role.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience delivering IT audits, ideally within financial services or asset management
  • Ideally, have a strong understanding of technology risks and controls, including infrastructure, cloud, databases, and change management
  • Ability to plan, execute and report on audit assignments independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident managing senior stakeholder relationships
  • Familiarity with regulatory expectations in the UK
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CISA, ACA, ACCA, CISSP) are desirable

 

This is a hybrid role based in London, typically requiring three days a week in the office. The team is motivated to move quickly and have someone in post by next month.
