Internal Auditor

Our client is a well-known ManCo with significant global operations . As part of their ongoing development in Luxembourg, our client is looking to hire a Internal Auditor to be based in the Luxembourg office and be responsible for assisting the delivery of the audit plan in Luxembourg and across other EU branches.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of the annual audit plan in Luxembourg and across their other EU branches
• Work with the group level audit team in revising and updating the audit plan and policies
• Carry out special investigations as and when required
• Ensure audit action and remediation points are managed
• Provide audit reports to the local, regional and group boards and committees
• Be responsible for managing co-sourcing relationships

Experience required:

• Prior experience of general business auditing gained with a financial institution is essential
• Audit professional qualifications are advantageous
• Knowledge of Luxembourgish financial regulation is preferred – knowledge AIF funds, specifically Private Equity and/or Real Estate would be advantageous
• Fluent English language skills are essential; French language skills are preferred
