Head of Complaints – Financial Services

My client is a leading Institutional Investment Management firm specialising in infrastructure in Emerging Markets.  The compliance department is expanding and a new role has been created for a key hire to manage the complaints process. The ideal candidate will have good regulatory knowledge within Investments and general Financial Services legislation and a strong understanding of the complaints cycle.

You will be responsible for the management, resolution and redress of cases, working closely with senior stakeholders in an advisory capacity, conducting information gathering and monitoring, responding to complaints in a timely manner meeting deadlines and timescales, support investigations into complex cases, recommend process improvements, developing policies and procedures and delivering training.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling regulatory complaints from international jurisdictions outside of the UK, the ability to manage a busy and diverse workload, excellent communication skills, sound research and analytical skills and be a strong team player who enjoys collaboration
