Head of Central Compliance

My client is a global Investment and Corporate Bank. They are in a really exciting period of growth and are creating a new position of Head of Central compliance.

This is a Director role at a tier 2 so would be a good fit for a tier 1 VP/SVP looking to take on more responsibility at a smaller firm.

As the central compliance officer, your role will be varied working with the wider compliance function and other control functions.

You will be responsible for regulations applicable to the wider business.

You will look at external compliance regulatory reporting as well as group regulatory reporting. Also, employee-related compliance matters including SMCR and training will fall under your responsibility.

As this is a senior role you will report to executive committees and board committees.

You will manage a small team of central compliance officers.

You will enhance procedures and controls relevant to the operation of this function.

The role is hybrid 2 days in the office.

Salary on offer is £120,000 on the base.
