Head of Assurance
A leading international financial services firm is hiring an experienced regulatory audit professional to build and lead a new Regulatory Readiness & Assurance function from the ground up.
This is a highly independent remote working role with regular global travel and direct access to senior leadership, focused on ensuring the business is fully prepared for supervisory reviews across multiple global jurisdictions.
What you’ll do:
- Lead quarterly mock regulatory inspections across key markets
- Identify operational and documentation gaps before external reviews occur
- Assess local teams’ readiness and capability in each jurisdiction
- Deliver clear, candid reporting to ownership-level stakeholders
- Use AI tools daily to enhance reviews, analysis, and automation opportunities
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years’ experience in financial services regulatory audit or oversight
- Big 4 background (Senior Manager+), with FCA and/or CySEC exposure
- Strong multi-jurisdictional mindset (EU, UK, APAC, Middle East)
- Comfortable operating independently and speaking plainly at Board level
- Confident user of AI tools in professional work
