Data Protection Officer
Leading utilities company seeks a DPO for the EMEA region. The company has a large EMEA footprint and is seeking a data privacy specialist who can offer guidance across the region, reporting to the EMEA GC.
In this role, you will focus on the corporate compliance side of data protection (rather than SARS etc), supporting business strategy, interacting with the different businesses, integrating acquisitions, dealing with international data transfers (including to the USA) and implementing OneTrust across the EMEA region.
The successful candidate will be currently operating in a DPO or senior data privacy role with responsibility for Europe as well as the UK. Multi-national experience is a pre-requisite. Ideally you will have worked for a large, complex business with plenty of stakeholder engagement experience.
Home based contract. Salary £80-100k base + benefits + bonus.
