Audit Manager – Asset Management
I’ve been retained exclusively by a leading financial services organisation to recruit an Audit Manager into its expanding Internal Audit team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded function within a complex and well-respected business. The role offers broad exposure to a range of business activities, regular interaction with senior stakeholders and the chance to build a long-term career within an organisation known for its collaborative culture and strong staff retention.
The successful candidate will lead audits from planning through to reporting, evaluating risks and controls, identifying opportunities for improvement and delivering meaningful insight to the business. You will work closely with senior management and gain visibility across a wide range of strategic, operational and regulatory topics.
One of the key attractions of the role is the balance between responsibility and support. The team is continuing to invest in its internal capability and has a genuine focus on developing its people, creating clear opportunities to take on broader responsibilities and progress over time.
Candidates should have Internal Audit experience gained within financial services or professional services but with FS clients. The organisation is open to considering individuals from a range of backgrounds including banking, insurance, wealth management, asset management and investment-related environments. Strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships are likely to be more important than deep technical expertise in any single product area.
