Credit Risk Officer
My client is an emerging challenger bank based in the City.
They are looking for a commercial credit analyst with experience of asset based lending, working capital finance and term loans.
Responsibilities:
- Assess credit risks and provide a consistently high quality of risk appraisal and evaluate the merits of Credit Applications and reviews for existing and potential counterparties of the Bank.
- To examine and challenge the proposed transactions in light of all relevant information so that a balanced and objective assessment can be achieved.
- To highlight the major risks, strengths and weaknesses of the Credit Application and provide a clear, unambiguous recommendation to credit committee including any additional conditions that may be appropriate.
- To ensure that all Credit Applications are technically accurate, completed to the highest standards and adhere to the Bank and Group Credit Policies.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a corporate banking credit department covering UK SME counterparties.
