We are seeking a Compliance Manager with strong knowledge of Mortgages. My client is an established and growing Fintech who offer a range of products and services including home-buying, investing and retirement planning.
Managing a small compliance team you will be responsible for providing expert compliance oversight to the business, ensuring mortgage advice meets regulatory standards and best practice. The role will involve assisting with enhancing the current compliance programme, working closely with the business on product development, sign off on marketing material and financial promotions, carrying out compliance monitoring and thematic reviews, acting as point of contact with the regulator and the mortgage advice bureau, keeping up to date with regulatory changes, providing oversight on regulatory complaints, updating policies and procedures and providing regulatory training to the business.
The ideal candidate will have experience of mortgage advice compliance, knowledge of regulations around protection products would be useful and strong communication skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team.
