Corporate Lending Compliance VP

My client is an Investment bank based in the City of London. They have gone through some exciting structural changes realigning the banking and markets sides of the business. As a result of this, they have created new positions within the compliance team.

They performed well last year and the bonuses were good. The leadership team is excellent and being a small team of 30 compliance officers they are closely knit and collegiate.

They are looking to hire an experienced investment banking Compliance Advisory Vice President.

You must have exposure to corporate lending.

The role will be multifaceted and an opportunity to truly help grow the compliance advisory offering of the bank.

• Interpret regulatory rules and regulations so appropriate policies and procedures are in place.
• Provide real-time compliance advisory support to the front office.
• Manage compliance risks by identifying weaknesses in the bank’s activities, conduct, or controls.

You must have a sound understanding of market abuse regulations MAR, EMIR, MiFID II.

Salary on offer here is circa £100,000 basic
