Commodities – Market Risk Analyst

We’re working with a global ingredients business at the heart of the food & beverage supply chain, looking to hire a Market Risk Analyst into their central London office.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate closely with traders and senior stakeholders to assess and monitor risk across a variety of commodity markets. You’ll play a key part in building and improving reporting tools, challenging existing processes, and delivering valuable insight into market and currency exposures.

What they’re looking for:

  • A background in market risk within a trading, banking, or commodities environment
  • Strong understanding of derivatives and physical trading concepts
  • Confident with Excel/VBA and ideally Python or SQL
  • A proactive mindset and ability to work independently
  • You’ll be expected to work from the London office 5 days a week.
