The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated first line risk and control function within the Chief Controls Office. You’ll be part of the Business Process Management team, leading initiatives that map and improve end-to-end processes across the organisation as part of a firm-wide transformation programme.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the mapping of cross-functional business processes to agreed standards (e.g., BPMN 2.0).
  • Ensure that risks and controls are clearly identified and documented within each process.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency and process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business lines, Risk, and Control functions to deliver sustainable improvements embedded into BAU operations.
  • Facilitate workshops, manage project timelines, and communicate progress to senior management.
  • Drive engagement across teams to secure buy-in for process improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in business process mapping and business analysis, ideally using Microsoft Visio or equivalent tools.
  • Background in Financial Services or Consultancy, with a strong understanding of operational risk and control environments.
  • Proven experience delivering process improvement or operating model enhancement projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to confidently engage with and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Collaborative team player with high attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Certification or formal training in Lean Six Sigma, Business Analysis, or Operating Model Design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
