Business Analyst – Operational Technology Security
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Business Analyst to support a large-scale Operational Technology (OT) and Cyber Security transformation programme within a complex manufacturing environment.
This role sits at the intersection of OT, cyber security, and engineering, helping shape and deliver secure, scalable technology solutions across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements for OT technology and security solutions.
- Assess existing OT tools, processes, and workflows to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Support solution evaluation, pilots, and site rollouts to ensure effective adoption.
- Develop RFP and procurement documentation and support supplier assessments.
- Translate regulatory and risk requirements into actionable delivery artefacts.
- Produce high-quality documentation, including process flows, specifications, and operational procedures.
- Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders across Engineering, Supply Chain, OT, and Cyber functions.
Skills & Experience
- Proven Business Analysis experience within OT, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of OT systems (eg, SCADA, PLCs, HMI, MES, DCS).
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443, or CIS.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience identifying gaps and driving process improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working in complex, federated, or Matrix environments.
