Group Company Secretary

My client is a well regarded global insurance broker looking for a new Group Co-Sec who will report to the General Counsel and manage a small team.

The role will have oversight over the Company Secretarial Team, all of the outsourced service providers and regional offices to ensure that the Group companies comply with all of their legal and regulatory requirements whilst also ensuring Board meetings are being run effectively.

The role will have responsibility for corporate governance, board support, legal and regulatory filings, some areas of compliance and all shareholder issues.

They need an established Company Secretary who will ideally have experience of insurance and in a perfect world, an insurance broker. The successful candidate will need to have managed a small team and be able to operate at the right level from day one.

The role is City based and while they offer good flexibility they will need the person to be in the office a few ties a week with flexibility when board meetings are happening.
