Privacy Officer
Leading financial services firm seeks a Privacy Officer on a fixed term contract basis to cover a period of leave in 2024. The role will start in the new year.
You will monitor compliance with Privacy laws in the EMEA region and will conduct DPIAs. You will offer guidance to the business on privacy matters and will work to raise awareness of privacy across the group. Working with key stakeholders, you will further develop the firm’s privacy programme to include setting and reviewing policy, management of risk, and managing reporting requirements.
The successful candidate will be available for up to 12 months, and able to come into the central London office when needed (up to once a week).
You should be have strong data protection experience with excellent knowledge of EU GDPR and the UK DP Act 2018. Knowledge of privacy law in the EMEA region would be useful but is not essential. The firm uses OneTrust and it is preferred that you will have experience of using this tool.
Salary £65,000 + bonus + benefits.
