Recruitment Consultant

Barclay Simpson is seeking to hire an experienced 360 recruitment consultant to join our rapidly growing technology team.

This is an expanding desk with existing PSLs in place with a number of global banks, asset management firms, insurance companies, fintechs, consultancies and commercial companies. In this role you will recruit permanent and temporary candidates at all levels across software engineering, cloud, devops, data and tech change.

The role has the potential to generate high billings with a strong brand name, an excellent network of candidates and solid demand from clients.

The successful candidate must be a strong team player with a proven track record of 360 recruitment experience. You should be currently working in a recruitment agency (this role will not suit an internal/in-house recruiter) and you will have previously recruited technology roles into the financial services sector. The ability to network and business develop is essential, and this will be tested at interview. This role will not suit someone who has been mainly delivery/candidate focused. The ability to build a desk is essential and you must be able to evidence previous experience of bringing on new clients and generating jobs for yourself.
