Position Overview

We are seeking a Risk Management Associate to join the client’s growing risk management team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in financial services who is eager to expand their expertise in risk analysis, options strategies, and trade reporting.

The successful candidate will support daily monitoring of client risk profiles and exposures, contribute to risk analysis and mitigation, and help enhance the firm’s risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of risk management procedures.

• Analyze client risk profiles and trading strategies.

• Monitor intraday and overnight client risk exposure.

• Identify emerging risks and support the design of mitigation actions.

• Review, interpret, and report on risk-related data and performance metrics.

• Track and enforce client trading limits and controls.

• Collaborate with the operations and technology teams on risk-related initiatives.

• Support the testing and evaluation of risk management systems and tools.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years’ experience in financial services, preferably within a brokerage or trading environment.

• Working knowledge of broker-dealer operations and risk management principles.

• Strong interest in options strategies, trade reporting, and securities lending.

• Proficient in data analysis, with solid Excel skills (database experience advantageous).

• Excellent communication, analytical, and multitasking abilities.

• A proactive approach with a passion for continuous learning in financial risk management.
