Security Engineering Manager
This well-established organisation is a leader in its market. The company seeks an experienced Security Engineering Manager to directly manage a team of 9 security engineers.
The team is responsible for the delivery of secure solutions across the company, including (but not limited to) next-gen firewalls, SASE solutions, vulnerability platforms and AWS/Azure platforms. As Manager, you will make a contribution towards delivery work but your focus will be on managing the workload, managing the team itself, and dealing with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of technical security controls in a large enterprise. You must have previous staff management experience and will be experienced in delivering IT and security services and projects. Knowledge of network security and NGFWs will be beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity to combine your technical skills with people management, stakeholder management and strategic thinking.
You will be able to work mainly remotely with just occasional trips to the Gloucester office (usually once a month). SC clearance is required so you must be SC eligible (i.e. you must have lived in the UK for 5 years consecutively, without gaps).
Salary up to £75,000 base + cash benefits + bonus + excellent pension scheme.
