Senior Manager – BCM Second Line

We are seeking a Senior Manager for Business Continuity Management (BCM) to strengthen IT resilience and ensure compliance with evolving regulations like DORA, BAIT, and MaRisk. Sitting in the second line of defense, this role offers strategic oversight of IT continuity and crisis response planning across the business and key third parties.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and enhance the BCM framework in alignment with DORA and EU financial resilience standards

• Provide second-line challenge and oversight to 1LoD continuity, DR, and IT recovery plans

• Ensure BCM testing is effective, realistic, and meets regulatory scrutiny

• Drive regulatory readiness and support audits and inspections related to operational resilience

• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Business Units on cross-functional resilience strategies

What You Bring:

• 7+ years’ experience in BCM, IT disaster recovery, or operational resilience, ideally within FS

• Deep understanding of DORA, MaRisk, ISO 22301, and IT risk frameworks

• Proven ability to operate in a governance or oversight capacity (2LoD or Internal Audit)

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Fluent in German & English
