Senior Internal Audit Manager
We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Internal Audit Manager to join a fast-paced, global financial services organisation. Based in London, this role is a key part of a collaborative internal audit team that provides independent assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, governance, and internal controls across the business.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and deliver end-to-end risk-based audits covering regulatory, compliance, financial, and operational areas.
- Develop and review audit programs, working papers, and insightful reports.
- Engage confidently with senior stakeholders to validate findings and agree on corrective action plans.
- Supervise audit teams on a project basis and ensure delivery to time and quality standards.
- Contribute to the annual risk assessment and help shape the audit plan.
- Support special projects and drive continuous improvement across the audit function.
What You’ll Bring:
- 7+ years’ experience in internal audit, preferably within financial services or Big 4 consulting.
- Strong knowledge of key regulations (e.g., AML, SMCR, MiFID II, GDPR).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading audit teams and using GRC tools.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, CAMS) preferred.
