Control Room Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Salary: Circa £60,000

We are seeking a Control Room Analyst to join a growing compliance function within a global financial services organisation. This is a key role for an individual with a strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory risk, particularly around information barriers and conflict management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain information barriers across the organisation to manage the flow of material non-public information (MNPI).

  • Oversee and maintain the Watch List and Restricted List, supporting the management of regulatory and reputational risks.

  • Review institutional research and manage potential conflicts of interest.

  • Support the firm’s compliance with UK Takeover Code disclosure requirements.

  • Contribute to policy reviews and regulatory change management initiatives.

  • Participate in regional and global compliance projects and control room initiatives.

  • Liaise regularly with front-office teams, legal, and other risk functions across multiple regions.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven compliance or regulatory experience, ideally within a control room or a similar risk and control function.

  • Solid understanding of investment banking and global markets products.

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Effective under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Collaborative mindset with experience engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
