Security Engineer – Security Clearance needed
Rate: €400–€500 per day
Security Clearance: Must hold a valid NATO Secret (or national equivalent) clearance
About the Role
Infrastructure Security.
You will be part of a forward-looking team tasked with strengthening the organisation’s security posture in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
Responsibilities
Cloud Security
- Secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, private cloud) according to industry best practices
- Implement cloud security controls, monitoring, and threat detection
DevSecOps
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct security reviews of code and infrastructure deployments
- Champion automation and “shift-left” security principles
Security Operations
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents
- Manage and optimize SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence tools
Requirements
- Active NATO Secret security clearance (or national equivalent).
- 5+ years’ experience in cybersecurity roles across cloud, DevSecOps, SecOps, and infrastructure security.
- Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and security services.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Proficiency with security automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and security scanning platforms.
